Ranking depends on many factors. If your niche is not competitive, It will be easy for you to get good rank but if niche is competitive it would be difficult to get rank in days. You can do couple of things like On page SEO (title, meta, image etc...) and off page seo(Creating back links).

There are billions of websites out there. Page 1 only has 10 spots on it. If there were a formula to reach page 1, as you want, what would happen to the other billions of sites wanting to get in there?
There is no formula, mate.

On some niches you have 5. The Amazons and Expedias have taken the rest, permanently. Along with the adwords spots at the top.
