Hi,

Simply put, is it possible to rank a website (say, with a "mid-competition" keyword) ONLY using link pyramids ONLY with free web 2.0 properties? I know that you would probably need some direct links to money site in reality, but this question is purely from my curiosity. Do you think it's possible? If so, how many pyramids do you think you need?Has anyone tried or did some experiment?

As I mentioned this question is from my curiosity - want to know how powerful (or not so powerful) a link pyramid with web 2.0 can be. I know there are so many variables (competition, keywords, etc.) but just thought I want to know what the members of this forum would think...(or if it's actually possible and some do?).

I wonder about that myself. I think, although I don't know... that it could be done in an obscure niche, but you're not gonna do it with something like "golf swing" or "best diet"

Yeah I believe it could be possible as long as all your Web2.0 are indexed on G. Also it ultimatley depends on how powerful the competitions links are. So in order to power your links you just make the pyramid bigger and also to make sure that all links are indexed in G.

Is this possible? Absolutely
Is this possible with out of the box tools (Senuke, UD, MS)? Absolutely not

I will do provide 200 web 2.0 link from page rank 9 to 3 in just $5. Delivery in 2 days.

Yes anything's possible. Building the correct structure would give you a huge SEO boost.

I doubt there will be a HUGE SEO boost. Maybe you'll see something. But I might be wrong. It would be interesting to hear from somebody who actually tried this :)

You hate every easy to use tool, don't you? :p
Just because a tool is 'easy to use' doesn't mean it's good.
EP is fortunate enough to have his own bots and tools for 2.0's that I can assume don't have the footprints the public tools do, and target do f0llow targets unlike some of the ones you mentioned.

Was this possible before last two google updates: absolutely!
Is it possible now: i have no idea :(

Sounds like a good case for an experiment! Anyone willing to take that on? The truth is that it seems to be at least theoretically possible but I don't know if it can be done in a foolproof way. We seem to have a theory that could come up with an interesting finding, but without being tested in the real world it's hard to say how effective it would be when done for cash.

It won't cost you a dime but just few minutes to read the rules before you start posting in a forum like BHW.

Yes it works and the only person who can give you an answer is you itself. Go and test it on a micro niche site. See what works. Many of them will say it wont work but you never know. As far as I know it works like charm provided you know how to do it

This is an old topic, but I think I'm already doing this experiment. I'm a complete rookie right now. Would you guys be interested in having me log it on bhw?
