hi,

is it possible to rank two websites in top 10, but these websites have the same IP address.
I am asking because my old website that was hit by google, is back to 3 page, and some weeks ago, i started new one and its ranked on page 5 for the same keyword

yes it is possible, no matter if both sites are with same IP, you can make a good SEO and bring traffic, backlinks, social networks connections and youtube, and your both sites can be ranked in top10
 
Yes, you can even rank multiple pages of the same website on page 1 for the same keyword.
 
Yeah friend you can only dont create links in both only external sites
 
It can be done, but I wouldn't keep the new site and the one that got a penalty on the same hosting. Was it manual penalty or algorithm penalty?
 
You can rank as many as websites that are in the same IP address.

But.... if you are attempting to rank two websites for the same keyword, you are wasting time (and also money). So I suggest you to rank one website for one targeted keyword.

its was algorithm penalty. i am not sure that this website is recovered completely. before hit was rank 2, after 144, and now 31. i build some pbn backlinks, and i will see.

my problem is that i had 4 website. all of them got hit. i said myself "ok, lets do this better". i start creating 4 new websites in the same niches and now few days ago they back to pages form 1 to 4.

its depends how many time and money i will use. i think two website in top 5 its good deal, more changes that someone will visit my offer.

It is perfectly fine to do this IF the new site uses different content to the original. Simply don't repeat the same mistakes that got your first site smacked from G.

Do you know what caused the first site to be hit by Google?

yes it was some private blog network with spun content. i should use that links for tier 2 or tier 3. i will never use this links again, however it worked very good for me for a while
 
Yes' it will work. Google want only real traffic. if you doing white hat seo.
 
just take care of contents on both of your website ... Hosting on same server is not an issue.. work for your OFF and ON PAge ::breakpc1:
 
i guess it will be ayrite , i have managed to rank 3 sites in top 10 they were all registered with the same email/info but hosted on different servers
 
I actually have 2 websites ranking for some terms on the first page... And I'm thinking of making another one so to have 3 websites... this way no matter which site visitors take, they still visit one of my websites and buy from me even though websites are different.
I have to say that both websites are separately hosted and have completely different designs and content.
