Rank Tracking - Any Ideas?

Anybody have any good ways to check their keyword ranks?

I'm currently using ranktracker, but its slacking. The ranks that it shows are not the ranks of my keywords if I search them myself.
Anybody have suggestions on what a better approaches to keeping track of my keyword rankings?

The results you get yourself are actually probably what's wrong - you are getting personalized results.
Rank Tracker is working just fine for me and gives the same results as the other tracking tools I am using.

I'm using serpbuddy right now, and it's pretty good. But, if you have the budget to spend, I might recommend Advanced web ranking too. It's a mind blowing piece of software with some really cool features.

Thanks for all of the ideas. I definitely do not have a budget ATM, so I went ahead with traffic travis. I have to say, it is nice for free software.

Market samurai sucks now, they are charging their 'one off' paying clients a monthly for more than a handful of searches a month, and now that they can't use yahoo site explorer, only magestic for their backlinks, it's not worth it anymore.

Google keyword tool because it's very useful for SEO person, easy to understand and some other great Features. Some other keyword tools are available for use like seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/ and other is wordstream.com/seo-keyword-tool. I think this is help you for best solution.

This is probably thrue and OP should check with the new tool is he having the same thing. Log off from the Google if you do not want to see personalized results.

The most advanced software that I've used is Advanced Web Ranking. It costs a lot but here's a tip...you can get it for free by writing a review (or in my case hiring someone to do it) and posting it on a SEO blog. I paid $20 for a nice review, posted it on a blog, emailed them and within a few days they sent me the license not only for advanced web ranking but also to their link checking software.

But trust me...this software has more features than you'll ever need.
