Looks like there are no captchas in rank tracker and no ban to the ip address now.

I found built-in proxies in beta (preferences -> search safety settings -> (beta) use built-in proxies).

Just checked my usual 20 keywords: no capthas, and I can still search google from my ip.

Is it just luck, or does this beta thing really work?

thanks man, that info is really helpful! works for me like a charm!

gave you some +rep because this info is really helping me using RT :)

Hi monchini, so you tried it out too? How does that compare to your previous experience? Also no captchas and google blocks?

Exactly, no captchas and Google blocks. Works like a charm. But to be honest I guess only as long as not everybody found this option ;)

That's a great added feature. I've been checking from work my comp, checking some sites on my VPS, and checking some sites on my home comp via rdp just to get past the captcha nonsense.

Perhaps - by let's hope for the best!

What if you want to check ranks in UK (I obviously use UK proxies) and ranks in US (where obv you need US proxies)? Because the results are way different if you use say UK proxies to check US ranks...

Woo.. I didn't notice it. I'll see how well it works :D

That's a good question. So far I haven't seen it make any difference. I'm UK too, and have been using it non stop with this feature active and the results stay the same. Maybe it has it own in built algorithm which searches the locational based version of google regardless of the ip.

Works like a charm. Actually the results are correct, non city based. That means that it shows the google results from the targetted country without having set a city. So there are no local results included. Right now this is the most accurate ranking for clients that are looking for innercountry rankings.

still pretty slow for me (they all hang around page 16). my private proxies are faster.

Any news on this? I'm planning on buying some proxies in Spain, since that's the country I work the most.

Cheers!

For some reason I'm not seeing the built in proxy check box. It might but because I haven't updated my search engine algo in awhile.
