This is my first attempt at making a thread on blackhatworld, please be kind lol.

5 years ago I rank an Amazon SEO agency. Had some pretty big clients too but decided to leave that business alone. Amazon is a headache.

Here is what i did to rank my products as well as my clients' on Page one, 90% of the time

Step One

I created a facebook group of people who loved testing Amazon products. I had about 4000 people in the group. You can search for it on Facebook, it's called Amarank. Feel free to check it out.

Step Two

I collected all their emails with Google forms, so I could send them emails later with products and coupons. I used my Gmail account. It has a higher open rate than using an autoresponder.

Step Three

I send them an email, individually, of whatever product I am promoting. I send them the picture of the product on Amazon. Never the product link.

Then I tell them to search for the product using whatever keyword I want to rank for.

For example I am selling a toaster oven,

I send an email with a picture of the product listing on Amazon, tell them to seach for "toaster oven" and when they find our product, they should add to cart, apply the discount coupon and purchase.

Step Four

Don't email them all the same day.

For example if I have list of 100 people intersted in the toaster oven, I send 10 emails per day for 10 days.

So that means, each day, 10 people are searching for my product on Amazon, and buying it.

Personal Results?

Personally I have sold over 100K on Amazon (before they banned me lol)

Client Results?

One of my biggest clients did 1 million dollars in sales on Black Friday. The sales came from all the products which I ranked for him.

This method works with Kindle books as well.

I really hope this has helped somebody with their business. Amazon is a good cashcow but be careful, they can ban u for no reason.

Nope i dont think soo if you mix a pinch of ppc to make sure you dont look suspicious

You wont get banned using this method... did the same thing in a different varation works 100% and safe.
Like op said - just dont use direct links (amazon can see where they're coming from... Jeff has eyes everywhere )

If I'm intent to make my product page closer to 1st page instead of getting reviews.
can I also have my FB group to search in Amazon for my keyword, find the product and click?
I'm not asking them to buy.... at least they can find my product and click them, is it also help me rank higher?

couldn't amazon connect the discounts with your amazon seller account / products?

for clients and their products it would make sense to me, because they have their own accounts and you give the discounts from your account.

another question: what about reviews? did you asked some of the buyers? because it would be a winwinwin situation - keyword ranking, sells and reviews
