you can rank pages without backlinks at all if you do the right things (silos, content, topical authority).
It will be bad if you use only the same type of anchors (naked URL in your case), and ONLY if there are lots of them. Like, 2-3 naked URL anchors won't cause troubles, but if all of your anchors are naked URLs and you have 60 of them... well... you can figure out what will happen
