Rank drop for many keywords after buying backlinks

I purchased 3 different link building packages here at bhw about a week ago. Traffic and rank was the same, maybe a little bit more the last days. But about 6 hours ago i noticed that several of my keywords fell from 1 place to 3 page, and 2-3 places almost gone.

My main keyword is still 2, but a keyword just like it fell to page 3. This is the first time something like this has happend since i started ranking like 5 months ago. And its 1 week after I bought the packages, so my best guess is some bad backlinks...

To be honest, I don't really know that much about backlinks. So the constant discussion about no-follow and do-follow links is kind of confusing.

As you can see, I have A LOT of no-follow, some say they count, some say they don't.

But anyway, I need to r disavow the links that are bad, but I have no clue how to find the bad links. Should I remove all no-follow links?

Since I target a nation that is asleep atm, I cant see if there is change in traffic. But looking at the keyword drops, I am prepared for the worst...

Google is getting good at spotting patterns and when they see an overnight spike in backlinks rather than a gradual steady growth, they know some extraordinary method has been employed. I hope I am wrong, for your sake.

If the links are no-follow then I don't think it will affect on ranking part. May be its Google dance - please wait for some more time to see the exact position.

Its too eary to tell men we all know that rankings drop after you get fresh links to your site..just wait 2-3 weeks to evaluate on results...

well, according to what you mention, i am pretty sure it will get back up by 2-3 days.

d0follow or n0follow, that is like the biggest myth in earth, i have ranked many sites with n0follow alone, but your case, most likely is because the recent index of big G to your backlinks (1 weeks time is an appropriate assumption of index drip feeding). This might be one of the reason why Google is rearranging the position of your keyword, it might come back stronger but only time will tell mate.

So i would say, give it some more time,

Op, same happened with me after buying the links and my sub kw fall down from 3rd page to 5th page but I waited a week more and then kw was at the second page -- So, wait few more days and see the magic

Thanks for the feedback! In one way it makes sense, like Google need to re-rank my keywords... But I cant really understand how this could have a bad long term effect, it makes no sense. Because then people would just feed "bad backlinks" to their competition, so that their competitors keywords drops, and then you can swoop in with some good backlinks to get the #1...

I am a very logical person, and it seams logic to me that it should not be possible to get drop in serp because of something anyone could have done to your site? Because backlinks are offsite seo, so you could technically have nothing to do with it...

Or am I lost?

In my experience this is probably just Google Dance. My keyword rankings drop or fall off completedly sometimes after getting links but come back even stronger.

I am of the same opinion. Even if google is quick to react to new backlinks, if they are no follow it cannot penalize.

The first one was aurora rank back in september, really good one! But I cant find it anymore? 1 week ago I purchased: MyLinkBuildingService, Seolinkcafe and 50K from Backlink MASSACRE.

I suspect this could be just a dance which usually happens after a recent link building campaign. Give it some more time to bounce back.

It maybe a google dance. Just wait for week and see whats happen, meanwhile also try to make some social signal to your site. It will give more authority to your website.

Thanks! But google was 99% of my traffic. And now I got pretty much NO traffic at all? Hundreds of keywords must have dissapeared. Is this normal?

Buying large backlink packages are not the way to go - as its an easy pattern for Google to spot

you need either smaller more consistent packages or drip fed packages.

alot of this type of thing depends on your site age as well - you jam a bunch of links on a new site - well its going to be in trouble

Check to make sure you did not over optimized your keywords with 50k Links.

Well now I know it was stupid, guess you really learn from you mistakes. 50K backlinks on 8 sites and 70 keywords. But in webmaster tools only 3000 backlinks show. So I am disavowing the once that sucks now
