Hey BH'ers

I see many people that don't even know how to check their rank and if yes they'll get unaccurate data.

Here's how to do it correctly, if you don't have any automated rank checker this should come handy:

First of all we need to de-personalize the results on SERP

Open Firefox - Bookmarks - Organize Bookmarks - Select any folder on the left panel - Right click on folder and select "New Bookmark - Add the following values to the fields:

Name: Google de-personalized search
Location: www.google.com/search?&q=%s&pws=0
Tags: (Optional. Add any tags you want.)
Keyword: g
Description: (Optional. Use this to describe the search.)
Click Add.

Now go on tools - Private browsing - Now, go to the Address field in Firefox (where you see a URL at the top of the browser) and type something like this: g "randow keyword" press search

Now if you are targeting for example Google Us, add this in the adress bar &gl=us so you will get geo targeted results.

That's it remember to include g for every keyword/keyphrase you want and you'll get de personalized and accurate results.

If I have helped don't forget to thank or add rep ;)

I have done this process and it works. Thanks for sharing..................

I just open private/incognito browsing as it is supposed to strip personal data already (but it still uses the geo tracking).

Yeah it still doesn't completely take care of geo tracking.

I personally just use an automated rank tracker (manually checking hundreds of keywords/day is a pain), but if you have a smaller amount of keywords or want to do it manually, this is a very helpful tip.

Method 1: Using OP's method & SweTech's posted link, my keyword appears in #10.

Method 2: Using Pagewash.com & Micronichesitemasters, my keyword appears in #39

This is for Google.com. I'm not which of these are correct.

My guess is you're #10 result is personalized. What happens when you search on a friends computer that has absolutely none of your personalized history on it?

Try this, and they have a firefox addon so you can have it in your search drop-down menu

http://www.googleminusgoogle.com/

I have made search by my site keyword but can't find my site. My site is ranked on second position on google and 4th position on Bing.
