what is your setup? if you have dsl its as easy as resetting your modem. cable is more involved.

hum, i know it involves re-setting your mac address and power cycling it. try googling your modem model model to find out the specific procedure.

You could just download TOR (firefox with proxies built in) and use that, or you could use Hide IP Platinum (google it).

im using HideMyAss and it's working pretty well for what im doing (which isnt much)
I have used TOR and HideMyAss... but thats not what I am looking for I want to be completely anonymous.. I dont want to should up on any proxy list or black list ... if all possible to spoof my IP like how you would spoof a callerid... and i want to be able to use thousands of IP's

The only way I've heard of this being done is through hacking the net's top level servers, finding a string of unassigned IP addresses, and temporarily assigning them for your own use. Afterward, switch them back to being unassigned.
That way, you end work all points to real IP addresses but those addresses don't point to anything.
Mind you, I don't recommend this which is illegal as hell; actually I recommend against it. But, simply in the interest of a technical analysis ....

you need to use elite proxies that are called: SOCKS5. There are Socks4 and socks5 both are elite and very fast.. They cost money but well worth it.. the thing is besides changing your IP you also need to change your User agent (which includes OS, Internet browser etc)

sadly i only just figured this out a few days ago lol. its very simple
cable modem:
open command prompt
type ipconfig /release
turn off modem
wait 5-10 minutes
turn on modem
you now have a new IP
cable modem:
open command prompt
type ipconfig /release
turn off modem
wait 5-10 minutes
turn on modem
you now have a new IP
you get what you pay for..
