Had a random twitter idea, thought i'd throw it out there in case anyone was interested.

Basically you monitor tweets for people mentioning "on amazon" or "looking for"+"amazon" etc, basically tweets that suggest the user is on amazon.com currently.

Then have your bot automatically @reply them with an aff link with something like "have you checked this out yet?" or whatever.

idea being that if they are already on amazon, and get your cookie a high % of them should convert.

could be a shit idea but maybe someone will make money with it :)

open to hearing ideas on how to turn this into reality. what tools can you use to monitor for keywords and reply?

best of luck.

no i don't think it's a shit idea actually. the good thing is,your link can be totally unrelated. you could link to a random sex toy and nobody would get suspicious maybe you just posted the "wrong" link :D

Not a bad one, I think someone said this one before. But trouble now is Twitter is raped with spammers.

be interesting to follow some real people and use a rewriting engine to basically clone their accounts, then slip the spam @replies in between those. probebly make you seem more legit

There is some type of thing some ppl use, but ive seen it only used to piss ppl off.. like when I sware on twitter, some guys account named sware jar re tweets me playing internet police!

Now anyone know what they use to scan tweets? would be good to search for ppl looking for websites, or random lead generation for people who just got in accidents and need a lawyer.
