random shadowban????

soooo i made a fresh acc and after about 2 weeks it blew up and my posts were getting upwards of like 20-30k impressions minimum with upwards of over 500k+ and i realise that yeah i could of just hit explore but it went on for like a week and a half and my insights page all 7 days had over atleast 150k impressions then suddenly yesterday my posts all went from blowing up to a hard stop. like from 150k avg reach daily to 1.8k-1.9k. i know i got only 1700 followers rn but with hashtags before i blew up i would still get like 2k-3k imps per post cause of hashtags so somethings going on but i dont know. i noticed it seems like my posts arent showing at all in hashtags anymore can anyone help me get out of this random ban of somesort

Have you checked the hashtag from an account that is not following your account to see if your posts show up in recent posts?

I have noticed IG HEAVILY promotes new accouts with decent content at your size very often. The issue is that it never seems to be constant and rotates around to many accounts. Either they are expecting something to happen and it didnt....or maybe this is just how it works and you will have to wait for the next wave. I'd focus on keeping the "% of who arent following you" ratio on each post as high as possible. This is the absolute best metric to see how well your post is doing, and how much IG algo likes it.

Hey mate the same happened on my account but in my case I got the traffic drop down 1 week ago. I early blamed the changes on the algorithm occurred at that time, but now I'm confused when you say you have been affected just 1 day ago. At the first time I was thinking it was some sort of ban, maybe related with the wrong use of hashtags cause I'm not using bots, only powerlikes, but after a week getting a shit amount of views I start thinking this is something more permanent. If IG wants you growing you will, if not, you can try anything....... it won't work unless you spend big money promoting yourself.

This is what my peak engagement was and today’s engagement. And it all happened at a hard stop almost like my account was on a clock

How you boosted ur account? Powerlikes? I start thinking that in my case could be that my powerlike supplier got some kind of problems with the last changes and the ban wave on IG last week and is not working anymore. So what I'm gonna do is to change the powerlikes supplier. I'll give a try to another one. If you were using PL maybe we are in the same boat.

do i wait out by not posting hashtags or just not post in general or do i just continue normal posting and it should go away eventually? also how long on avg do they last? Thank you
