Random Anchor?

I saw this one high ranking site that has 6k backlinks and over 2k of them have the anchor "renee". Does this help in anyway for seo?

I also saw this site with 1.7 links in a health niche and check out the anchor text....


note this is a fairly tough niche... This site survived penguin 2.1 too...

Looks like their competitors are attempting to do Negative SEO by blasting them with porn keywords as backlinks. Negative SEO is alive and thriving if you know the right people to talk to.
