Dude, there are people in the comments who are celebrating the holy day of their faith, and why are you trying to make fun of each other in a sarcastic way, when everyone respects each other's faith ? You're doing everything you can to get this over with. The people on the subject are celebrating their religious days , there is no religious discussion in this case, my friend. Wow . You can drink alcohol but not cause of that. No one's stopping you. Please, just read more before coming to conclusions like that. In these 30 days everyone eats and drinks water, it's just you who doesn't know anything about that, think that people will not eat & drink water at all for 30 days.

- The purpose of this worship is to understand the state of poor people, to try to keep oneself away from harmful behaviors, to take care not to blaspheme.
So no one is doing recreational not eating, not drinking water

No everyone does the same fasting in the whole world. Just wanted to tell you that in one day, you don't eat & drink ONLY for some hours and then you're allowed to eat - drink for some hours. So everyday you eat and drink but you have a schedule when you have to. People would die if they wouldn't eat & drink for 30 days.

That wouldn't make sense to not drink water for 13 hours. You can't work any job dehydrated. Dyhedration happens in an hour during work.
But I don't know if it still classifies as fasting or is it just Wikipedia nonsense.
I think Muslims would like OMAD trend style of eating.
