R.I.P DMX..

OMG :( I didn't know! Damn!

I grew up, listened to hits like:
Ruff Ryders Anthem
X Gon' Give
Slippin'
Where The Hood At
We Right Here
What's My Name
Lord Give Me a Sign
Ayo Kato
, and many more... Lived that hip-hop culture.
DMX was one of the top 5 rappers in my book... Hell... The world has lost one big man with a big heart!

He did turn in the wrong direction but he also did a million good things.

RIP! <3

He died from taking too much drugs
The heart attack was just the result
Rip

Okay, now a serious post from me.

I think maybe this track is a little more appropriate for a RIP DMX thread.

And also, no one mentioned the movie "Never die alone."

It's nothing fancy, but DMX killed it in that one. The movie is a bit of a mind fuck, but it's very cool. I always loved the movie and I'll re-watch it once in a blue moon.

So anyway, I've been listening to DMX for a good 15 years, and I'm sad to see him go.

Good luck DMX, Rest in Peace dog.

Without a doubt one of the best rappers of all time. I rate him much higher than the usual 2pac and Biggie.

I remember when I was like 12 and started a new school and I had a DMX shirt on (lol). And an older dude put a knife to my throat in the cafeteria telling me he would kill me if I even wore it again. Mad ting

Wow that's a crazy story. Did you ever wear the shirt again? I had the same problem that I couldn't wear a DMX shirt anywhere, people kept throwing knives and razors at me wherever I went. But then I bought a gun, and the problem stopped :D

Oh man 2pac number one for me. Then comes DMX and 50 Cent and Eminem and... well I guess these are my main ones that came to mind first... then maybe Ice Cube gets a mention. Jay Z gets a mention just for being a part of the thing, I never really listened to his music :D

Oh Ja Rule and The Game. Honorable mentions haha.

Died of a drug overdose at 50 due to cardiac arrest, they(news sites) are not telling yet which drug. He was doing crack cocaine for a long time.
You can die of cigarette smoking at 50 due to cardiac arrest.
O well, RIP.

His remix... and this movie... it was one of the first dvd that my mom bought me when I was a kid, nostalgia hit me hard on this one... RIP

Oh, My, God!

I used to love riding my car late night, going or coming somewhere, smoking weed and bumping this one loud.

Goddamn : - >

Dr Dre! Without we would have never heard of emin

Ice T! His songs rang deep then and now! Colors.

Nas
Kendrick
Method man
Wutang
Redman

they all pushed boundaries in ways Ja Rule couldn’t even dream.

There's no way you just put Kendrick lamar as #2 rapper of all time...

Ah, I used to listen to a few of his songs.

Even the owner of this old video updated the description.
