Hey everyone,
so I've seen people quoting their own posts under vital posts and I couldn't get a hang of it.

So I'm just asking around if you know something about it.

Well, quoting your own post under viral ones is a way to piggyback off of that visibility. Could work but timing and relevance matters a lot or your post would be seen for what it is at best goes ignored, at worst flagged as spam or for being off-topic. Best to add some value to the original convo while you're at it, wouldn't want to score an own goal.

Thank you, I'm the same opinion. I just don't get how to do it. I haven't found it anywhere either. How to quote your own post under another person's post
 
Devil's in the details, as with most things. I'd say copy the link to your own post and then reply under the viral post with that link. Not sure if that's still how you go about it but formatted right, it should show up like a quote. Just make sure the account isn't private and the original post allows replies from everyone. Quite sure it's possible, just haven't gotten around to testing how exactly.

yes, I've seen it multiple times and it would enhance the profile visit rate dramatically. I'm just not sure if it will get flagged by X.
