Looking to expand to another niche and it seems that Quote boards are popular. Even I have a few of those with modest engagement. Questions I have for those in this niche:

1) How's the ctr?
2) How do you monetize?

Thanks a bunch.

I think you are about 12 years too late to find this niche to be worthwhile, but an automated approach can definitely bring in some recurring revenue - presumably through adsense, or other on-site advertising channels.

It's not a particularly good niche for making real money, but smart guys can automate a sytem, and pump out a number of high quality sites of this nature, get some backlinks going regularly or even automated, and then one could make some money. It's not something I would do, but if you also have another 4-5 similar niches, and you were willing to build and automate up to 5 sites per niche - you might be able to make up to $25/day ... but I think it's a real push.

Thanks for the insight. Quotes are super popular in Pinterest. And I've often wondered how they're monetized. I traced a few sites and saw nothing that jumped at me in the same way as, say, food or fashion. A few sites didn't even have Adsense or any ads at all; only thing I saw were quotes on images (content).
