Most likely their views come mostly from low paying countries and low paying niche.

Quora is being really cheap, but I can make around $5/100,000 views in my best paying spaces.

But I am sure if Quora used their brains they could make $1,000+ USD/100,000 views on this content.

I would agree but I don't think Quora wants anyone to make money except themselves of the site .
 
For blog promoting purposes, I am using Quora space.

Using quora space, I am promoting my client's YT channel. Views and subscribers are increasing. Never tried this quora revenue model.

Quora has also introduced a model called quora plus, where we can provide subscription based content. Subscription price starts from 1$ for 1 year I think.

But didn't tried that, as all the content of my space are not that much valuable, that people will pay to read.

So, If any new blogger no needs to have a dedicated blog. Using this feature, they can generate money.

Quora plus and subscription are actually different things.

Quora Plus is for the whole website you can subscribe to Quora Plus.

Subscription is for individual spaces or writers they can set the price themselves.
 
The program is a joke. You should avoid it to be happy.
