Quora Scammed My Time?

Hello, I have put in almost 1 year in Quora Partner Program where they claimed to Pay us for 1 year for each Question/ and Ask to answer request, suddenly they stopped paying us for the Request answer, So they scammed my time all year to just cut off in the middle, I was earning $30 to $40 a day, now I earn $0.20cents a day. Can I sue them?

So they can just go away like that? they just scammed peoples time saying going to pay for 1 year and now stopped? isn't that a break of contract?
 
Do you have a copy of the agreement you have with them when you signed up?

All regarding the how Partners will be paid was in their Quora Partner Blogs where we had to follow to know how we will be paid for how long etc. We got 1099 for the year tax file where i made total of $8000 so far,

Did you read their latest policy update?

They had changed their policy a lot and it was stated they'll not pay a question for year.

Diversify your income, we are always reliant on other platforms for our results. Whether it be FB ads changes, Affiliate commission changes (See: Amazon cutting rates again), Fufillment issues via dropshipping there are always times you get screwed over.

My concern is shouldnt they pay for the one that we worked hard before they new policy?

well i wasnt dependant on taht, its just pisses me off they did that, I'm building my authority blogs

Organization like Quora usually state in their terms and conditions, that they have the right to change anything they want and whenever they want without informing anyone

You may try but make sure you keep your bags ready so that if it comes out to be opposite you can run fast :D

I think still if this is challenged in court, Quota will loose the case. Not worth it op because it will take time, money and energy.
 
I don't understand well OP, so basically they will not pay you 1 year of work or they are just stopping to pay you for future work ?

Exactly that's what pissed me off, is they will not pay me for my past work even though they said for 1 year i will get paid, for which i spent time. I understand if for future work work they dont pay totally ok, but really promise us to pay and let us work and say you wont pay for our past work? thats Quora Scam right there

True I was just wondering maybe I can let a Free laywer fight the case whatever they bring we split the sum lol
 
Most of the big companies do things like this and exploit end users. It is hard to do anything about it.
 
by your words looks like that they re really scam did , but have u tried to ping support and send mail to them with your situation , probably it will be best way for u !
 
I have couple of quora aff accs ,use quora to pull traffic ,dont trust on sites like quora to pay you ,they are huge now they will get rid of affiliates on and off .

But how can you work for months without getting any money ?

Were they paying every 1 year ?

It's that's the case that's very special. Usually online companies pay you at the latest every 1 month.
