Hello guys.
So I have a little question. I've posted a few questions on quora, but they don't get popular and they rarely get answers. While I see other questions (sometimes stupid) have a lot of answers!
So what's wrong here?

Does it depend on the account?

How do you define stupid questions?

Also are your questions well searched for in the first place? Esoteric questions for examples won't have that much reception.

By stupid question I mean that the answer is obvious!
I don't know if my questions are well searched for:)

Ahh okay, that's always going to be a matter of opinion I guess. Quota seems to be a weird alternative for people that are just lazy to google sometimes.

I would recommend trying to source your question and seeing if there are any answers out there for it. A good way is to look at the copious forum results that pop up only to be empty threads or threads where a soliton wasn't found. Then you know that it is both a really sought after answer and also hard to answer so wherever the answer is there will be a lot of attention.

Stupid questions work well on Quora. So does anything related to: controversy, politics, sex.

I guarantee if you ask a fucked up question in the parenting section you'll earn a few dollars from it. Do not keep requesting the same people in the same category, you'll eventually get an edit block - cause they will report you.

You can convert your questions to other languages. Be cautious with this though. Has to be 100% perfect.
