QUORA Marketing (Observation/Query)

I'm currently in the middle of manually scraping relevant questions on Quora for me to post to and answer later on. And as I always have my BHW tab open somewhere, I glanced and decided to check the forum if Quora upvotes is such a thing here. I know Reddit upvote clubs/exchange group exists, so I searched for Quora.

To my surprise, I didn't see any. Not much Quora talk in this forum to be honest. Well, I'm not the best at using BHW's search bar, but I didn't really see much on Quora, so I'm curious as to why.

Is Quora not considered as a relevant/impactful medium here on BHW? How come there aren't advertised Quora Upvote exchange groups? Is Quora marketing not effective?

Again, I might just be too preoccupied, but I really didn't see relevant results in my search. Hope someone can enlighten me.

Quora doesn't accept company name accounts. they need real name etc. It's tougher to do some blackhat I guess.

I've never heard of quora marketing outside of just using your own brand name and staying active? Do they have some sort of advertising that I'm not aware of? Quora ads would be pretty interesting.

Not ads. Basically like how people do it with Reddit. You "buy" upvotes or start a chain of Upvote exchange, that way, your "post" is bumped up top. Now imagine your Quora post/answer to a relevant question related to your niche with your link on it on the top of the results because you have the most upvotes... That's what I'm trying to figure out.

Now the poster above you, @4Panda mentioned that Quora need "real names". But nowadays, you can even make fake human profiles on LinkedIn, can the same not be done for Quora? Just for the sake of boosting upvotes?

I got blocked when using a company or something that's not formatted like normal names. To unblock, u need to give them some personal info. So it's a roadblock for making fake accounts. U can't contribute without verifying yourself. Obviously u need tonnes of real accounts to do blackhat there.

The more you talk about something, the more competition you get in the field. Most of the more profitable networks right now don't get too much "attention" here. When something becomes hard(overpopulated), very public or extremely obvious, then you will someone publishing "the method" about how to make money with that. I don't blame people for that, it's just common sense and it also works to explore new ideas.

It seems that Quora is an improved version of yahoo answers. In my opinion it could be a good source of traffic.

I'm just curious if someone actually tried it. There are top guys in this forum who have gamed Instagram/LinkedIn etc. like indianbill for example, who created softwares to automate a bunch of processes for some social networks. I just find it interesting that Quora is really that hard to penetrate... Or, maybe no one is trying to crack the pot -- yet.

Agree. And Quora is really killing it right now, but yeah, for some reason it's not being discussed much here. Maybe you're right, but this is BlackHatWorld! Everyone here seems to be on the latest stuff and still share methods and all.

It's either A.) You're right, that Quora is such a bankable avenue right now that most people who are ahead in the game don't wanna share their knowledge about it. or B.) Not much people here have experience or have tried tapping Quora.

I myself am just starting as we speak, and it's all white hat. Just me answering questions manually. If there's a better process to make Quora convert and drive more traffic, I'd be thrilled to know!
