One thing I have been watching recently is how much more important Quora content is becoming outside Quora itself.

with AI search becoming a bigger part of how people find information, useful Quora answers can potentially have a second life not just getting views on Quora, but also being discovered through search and used as a reference by AI-driven results.

That's a pretty interesting change.

It also makes me think the old approach of writing a generic answer + dropping a link isn't going to work as well anymore.

The answers that have a better chance of standing out are the ones that:

- Actually answer the question
- Include first-hand experience or useful examples
- Don't sound like an advertisement
- Stay relevant even months after being published
- Add something that isn't already repeated 100 times

I have personally started looking at Quora less as just a traffic source and more as an authority/content asset.

Curious what traffic or visibility changed for you in 2026?

Quora is one the most relatable social media platforms ever

Totally agree. Quora feels less like just a traffic source now and more like a long-term visibility asset. The AI search angle is definitely changing how I approach content there too.

Yes Quora is and was an excellent traffic source, if you want to promote your products and/or services there. However, you have to provide excellent quality of posts on your target audience in order to sell there.

I use Reddit every day and still can’t figure out why they keep banning me. :D

Quora and Reddit are absolute goldmines for brand recognition these days.

Spot on observation. With SGE and AI-driven search engines heavily prioritizing UGC platforms like Quora and Reddit, a simple drop-and-run link strategy is dead. High-ranking answers now need genuine first-hand depth and unique insights to get picked up as citations by AI models
