It seems that there's a problem with the specific format that you're using.
What works for me is to just mention the domain name.
For example, if your website is AirborneBlog.com, just put AirborneBlog.com.
Don't put the complete URL along with the HTTPS.
That's usually going to get rejected.
The interesting thing about Quora is that it even allows you to put your domain name in your answer credentials, so when your answer appears, your domain name will appear with your profile name.
Pretty cool!
Of course, you shouldn't abuse this.
Only feature credentials that add authority or weight to your answer.
The bottom line is if people are truly interested in going to your website, people will look at your profile and click out from there.
The secret to effective and sustainable Quora marketing is to actually help people.
So give them the answers that they're looking for within a particular niche.
This is crucial.
You have to focus on niches that are an inch wide but miles deep.
If you use that approach, you will easily become an authority in that niche, and people will seek you out.
I've actually done quite a bit of business off Quora because people like my answers.
That's how it's done.
You're not selling your site.
You're not selling your specific business offerings.
No!
You're selling yourself.
I'm talking about selling your credibility and your willingness to help others.
As the old saying goes, people are not going to care about what you know until and unless they first know that you care.
How do you get people to understand that you care?
By simply caring first.
Give them the answers that they're looking for.
Go the extra mile, and you'd be surprised at how quickly people will seek you out.
