Quiz Site Journey by mosh

So ever since reading this thread http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/making-money/816351-how-quizes-can-help-you-earn-using-facebook.html about making money with a quiz site + facebook, I have been thinking about giving this a try.

I'm a software developer by trade and a while back I did a simple aptitude test web app for a client that I thought I could re-purpose to use on a viral quiz website. A few weekends ago I rewrote the client project and made it into a simple website that can have two types of quizzes:

1. A graded quiz where you get 70% or whatever (e.g. can you pass the USA citizen test)
2. A personality quiz (e.g. which Harry Potter character are you?)

I am now working to get 50 quizzes ready in the next two weeks before starting to promote this on Facebook.

I have already set up the website, Facebook page + twitter profile and have done some sharing among my friends to test things.

I hope that starting this journal will motivate me to see this through. As a developer, it is really easy to start something but never really finish it

I have never actually made significant money online apart from through Freelancing and a WordPress plugin that I built 5+ years ago so I am hoping that I can finally use my skills to my financial benefit.

Here's a twist to have in mind, I haven't tested this but I'm sure that this may work well with cpv due to really cheap traffic. Test it out and let us know the results

Sorry, noob here. You mean cost per view ads on facebook?

Quick update: I am still uploading more quizzes in several popular niches.

I am targeting 5 - 10 quizzes per niche as a start.

I also briefly investigated if I could implement the type of quiz found here meaww.com, where it scans your Facebook profile and then gives you a result. I do not know what kind of algorithm this analysis uses so I have put this on the back burner.
