Oh shit man! I'd been following that story on the news. Last I heard, they thought the owner had been killed. Looks like that's not the case anymore. That's messed up. A lot of people could have gotten hurt.

That does suck. I do feel bad for the animals though. Even though they were not in an optimal living situation, couldn't the officers or a vet/animal trainer just tranquilize the ones they killed and then release them in other zoos or maybe even get the cats to the tiger sanctuary in texas?
I wonder why the dude killed himself. Maybe he couldn't afford to buy 50lbs of food a day for all of those cats.

I've been wondering the same, and it looks like that's what a lot of other people are saying. Didn't the police department have tranquilizers? I thought most do/should..
