Quickest way to get a site ranking in 2020?

Not asking to be spoonfed tips on how to rank first spot but I have come to understand there is a delay in google indexing / showing your website on search. Some say 1,2 3 and even 6 months. What are best methods black and white hat to get site showing on search in 2020 - expired domains, pbn's are terms I've heard but I am a n00b so please explain which methods are best in shortening delay in ranking in 2020

First get your links indexed in google then worry about ranking, no short cut links and content over a period of time, guest posts, pbns way to go

Any tips on getting site indexed as quick as possible,,, Is this what people mean by 1,2,3,6 month lag to rank a page?

Sites and pages do get indexed fairly quickly (most of the time), but it will depend on the age of your site to how quickly you will rank on Google.

General rule of thumb, you should at least start seeing things moving along after 6 months (at the latest)

If you build strong backlinks or got an expired domain with good backlinks, this typically goes quicker. If it's a new site, might just need to wait until you build a good rep with Google.
 
Would recommend to do social shares for fast indexing or get backlinks from high authority relevant sites

Go deeper than the competition is going, Move away from the commercial keywords and Buy traffic.

You need to learn the basic first, AKA the fundamentals of SEO, this might be a good way to start.

Nowadays, Indexing stuff is slower compared to previous days.
Try to use tier2 links, It'll work.
 
depends on many factors first is niche, keyword difficulty & target location. then building authority links & PBNs
 
Get backlink from high quality authority website and all time focus your competitor.

You can index your website faster with google search console/

Ranking totally depends on how much effort you are putting in the work + how competitive the keyword is.

A short term competitive keyword can take 1 year. (Even if you work daily for that keyword) <-- This benefits you in many ways because in the process you will be ranking in many related keywords.
A long term competitive keyword can take 6 months or a bit more.

there are various other things related to keywords which you can learn online. short term long term high competitive low competitive undiscovered keywords.
 
Post articles consistently with low competitive keywords first then go after the high competitive keywords after 3-4 months atleast and also get juicy backlinks to those articles side by side,do some SEO on the posts.
You can index your pages on Google Search Console,its easy and convenient!! :)
