Quick Windows File Question

    I'll give rep and thanks (if you care about that) to the first person to help me figure this out. I used PC's all my life but not sure about this one. So when I transfer files to my E drive for an external hard drive it's not prompting me to overwrite files or not. I want to transfer a folder to the external hardrive and not overwrite all the existing same files and just add the new files that aren't there. I'm not sure how to turn that back on cuz right now I have to delete all the files and then transfer them again so I don't get duplicates. Anyone know how to turn that prompt back on?

    Do you use registry cleaners? There's a reason why this feature isn't working. It's registry cleaners, infection or you messed with something.
