Quick way to put ad banners together?

I have a limited knowledge of graphic design, Im looking for something to basically help me put banner ads up that are the correct size and have wording and maybe a pic on them, nothing special.

Any software or easy ways to do it?

You could try a one of the many websites that offer this service for a nominal fee. Mostly you will be allowed to make a simple banner with an image and some text. It may cost you between 25 and 50 bucks depending on how good they are.

If you don't mind a learning curve, you can download free image editing software (Gimp 2 is a popular one) and make a banner from scratch. There is a lot of free tutorial based information on Gimp but it may take you much longer to figure out.
