I make top videos, and they aren´t difficult to make at all, I´m a complete noob and got to understand Sony Vegas in like an hour..

The way I make my videos is I think of any topic which can make a good top (In my case I make top 6 videos).

1.- I write the script which takes around 30 minutes to an hour (Googling info and all that)

2.- I record what I wrote, recording usually takes less than 10 minutes unless my script is waaaaay to long, but more or less I record a 5,000 characters script in 10 minutes or less.

3.- Editing the sound takes around 15 minutes (Basically I ´cut´ all the strange noises I might hear with my mic)
-Also you should record with everything off, even your ceiling fan makes noise..)

4.- I google images/videos to put on the video and put them there, this takes around an hour.

    5.- Render the video.

5.5.- Use handbrake to make 1GB videos 100MB videos (otherwise it would take like 12 hours to upload to Youtube with my slow as hell internet connection)

    6.- Upload to Youtube.

All said and done it probably takes me around 2 and a half hours to make a video from start to finish, rendering takes one hour (I guess because my laptop is slow, how much does it take to render a 5 minute video for you guys?) and 2 or so hours to upload to youtube.
