[?] Quick Way To Get New Links Indexed

I'm currently conducting a test to see how Google treats multiple links to the same URL (on one page) using varied anchor text. The page that I have placed these links on is a PR3, though it's not a page that is normally updated often... It's sort of an "About Us" type page.

The links have been on the page for at least 2 weeks now. How can I speed up the process of Google discovering these links?

I've tried pinging the page, but it isn't a blog and as such doesn't have an RSS feed, so I doubt that helped.

I used unique terms that don't seem to appear anywhere else on the web... Essentially random strings of characters. When I search for these unique terms, the page that I am linking from comes up... So Google has crawled the site since I've added the links, but it hasn't indexed the actual links.

Also, the unique anchor text does not appear on the page that I am linking out to, though I don't think that should make much of a difference.

Any advice?

Submit that URL on Yahoo BUZZ. I'm sure google will discover that with in a few hours.

Actually Google is getting a long time to find backlinks. Like indexing new sites.

The thing is, it's not a new site. The domain is 3-4 years old, but I haven't previously built many backlinks to it... It's a PR0. Still, it's already indexed, it's just not listing for the unique terms that I linked to it with from the PR3 page.

I already have analytics installed, but I've never heard this before.

You might try using a free online service to convert the html page to rss and then submit the rss to a few rss directories like feedage and etc.

Bookmark some inner pages using BMD, does it everytime.

use the keyword tool external and input your url. ive had sites indexed in hours using this method.

Here is what I've experienced... Posting your links in a couple ads on craigslist (and/or some other classifieds) will get you in google (within hours for me), slap links in an ebay listing and yahoo will pick you up fast too (couple days)... bing I found to be the hardest to get indexed quickly with a new site... only thing I find that works is to go into the bing webmaster forum and nicely state that bing is not crawling your site for some reason and ask for help on what you can do... the secret tho is to sound sincere and not spammy and then drop your link.. haha, I was even able to drop anchors there in some places (so you might as well ping the page with your comment on it while your at it... Within 3-4 days bing comes crawling... (after like 2 months of nothing... Did this twice (as in like 2 weeks ago for 2 different sites and it worked...coincidence? Maybe...

dont forget to ping all of the backlinks you create. some software will do this automatically though.
