Here is a site that helps to get a new Squidoo lens noticed. It will notify the following blog services that your Squidoo page has been updated:

Google Blogs, Yahoo, Live Search, Weblogs, Icerocket, Moreover & Weblogalot

It's free and easy and only takes like 2 seconds.

Code:
http://squidutils.com/ping-lens.php

The site also has a "lens optimization tool" that is actually pretty cool.

Instead of asking why don't you go take a look?

Hehe..so i can ping my old lens with this...TY

You can. Just go in and update it first. Any kind of update is fine, add a module or whatnot then ping it.

The optimization tool is real nice as well, I recommend checking your lens with that.

Great site John Dough i use it all the time :)

im thinking of doing a webinar (if that's how you spell it) on squidoo however to make it worthwhile would need about 100 or more people who are interested in improving their squidoo knowledge to join in and watch.... urrrm will have to think on that one.

But yeah i use this site all the time to check up on squidoo related things :)

To update a lens just press edit on the dashboard and press publish on the lens.
You don't actually need to change anything in order to get the date updated
