Dear Members,

Most of you guys, may running some kind of affiliate site, doing seo, content marketing etc but what if traffic is arriving at your website or some landing page but leave the page without any signup or buying anything.

So i would like to share my experience with my own ecommerce store in last 1-year. And how i boosted my website conversion rate. You can also try similar steps with your ecommerce store also.

So basically i sell IT Infratech devices like of Firewall, Ethernet Switches, Industrial Routers etc. So i setup the store as usual with price tags, details, etc.

Started traffic from some paid sources, google, social media but for doing about 4-6 months traffic stats was generating with 1-2% of conversations.

So after reviewing the stats i realized, high ticket items don't sell like of any other low ticket items those cost $5-$100. So i hide the prices and put a enquiry form in there. And this increased my conversion process or lead generation process to about 8-10%. Still i was fighting for more conversion rate.

So i replaced that enquiry form with simple whatsapp chat button and you know what, my lead generation increased to about 15-20% now.

So Here're some bottom lines for conversion process from my point of view :

- Customer is lazy, they don't want to read or even not wants to fill the forms, they hesitate to share their business details, so just think how in single click customer can connect with you, like in my case.
- Never consider they will find details from menu navigation, what you think details they would like to read before any signup or buying process, those should be available on landing page.
- Customer never wait, so make sure you reply to their enquiry asap & have periodic followups.

I hope those information would help you to boost up your conversion rate.

Kindly share your experience in conversion process.

Thanks

In 2010 I entered the luxury marketing space for the fist time. Brands like Chanel, Burberry, and Prada felt like they were above the general population of internet culture. At the time they favored in-person commerce and intimate digital buys. Fast forward to 2020, and every COVID-ridden flagship store changed their "in-person-is-luxury philosophy"...

Suddenly consumers were:
  • Advocates for everything that the brand stands for (e.g Tracksmith = running.)
  • And/or performance enhancement DTC brands for the 5% (aka Recess = straight-edged tech workers with plenty of time to drink but no desire to get "drunk".)
To succeed in this landscape I think you can:
  1. Start with something you're passionate about.
  2. Do keyword research to make sure you can rank and/or deliver value in the category.
  3. When pages start to rank, make adjustments to increase conversion rates. When you turn a semi-heartfelt page into a researched page that puts the visitor in the place of the consumer, you'll see huge result.s
Hope that's helpful for aspiring entrepreneurs.

I'm currently making $8K per month by following this methodology in an unexpected niche and I would love to see others do the same.

If you have questions, feel free to let me know. I'm a New Yorker who comes from the in-person side of luxury of marketing. When I first started everyone discredited the internet but in actuality, the best buyers do their research and buy online.

As a former journalist and internet nerd, I believe in great writing and strong content. If you're creating something amazing and want help luxury brands money, don't hesitate to reach out to me directly.

Somewhere along the way I got into the corporate side of things but I believe scrappy internet marketers are the greatest and most valuable asset of the internet.

If I can help you connect to the luxury world, I am happy to do so.

Thanks in advance for your replies.
