Using YT to peddle AZ products.
We all know that YouTube is an excellent resource for both information and entertainment. No matter the topic you're interested in, there is always a video available that either discusses it, teaches you how to do it or can be used to keep visitors on your page. It's only a matter of applying some creative thinking to figure out how you can leverage and benefit from the YT videos that are available.
In my case integrating YouTube videos on AZ product pages helped me to increase the average Google page rank from 102 to 86. Not bad. But it gets even better; my actual dwell time increased from 2.1s to 4.6s at the same time. Great!
With these wonderful metrics in mind, I like to continue and share my strategy on how to use YT videos for your own AZ niche product pages. And I'm sure you will benefit from this method too. If not, feel free to let me know in the comments below!
The Process
My process consists of three simple steps that don't take long and get me excellent results;
1: Research
2: Analysis
3: Integration
Research
On average I spend around 3 hours a day looking for YT videos that I can integrate into my AZ product pages. During my research, I think about my target audience and what type of video will likely resonate with them.
Extensive tests, for my particular use case, lead to the conclusion that use of a music video is a great way to connect with my audience.
Let's take Action Bronson's "Le Dernier Putsch" as an example. Soon after the initial release on YT, I've integrated it into a couple of different product pages on two separate AZ affiliate websites that I manage.

Analysis
While watching "Le Dernier Putsch," I immediately notice a couple of things that I can use to increase my AZ affiliate sales.
With the help of a timeline, I will break down each one of my observations and explain how I use them to generate interest for the actual AZ products.
00:00 - 00:14
At the beginning of the video, I don't see anything, but I do hear a noise that indicates a violent encounter. After two seconds some descriptive text appears on the screen that immediately grabs my attention.
The use of both techniques increases the change that the viewer will at least hang on for the first 14 seconds. And because of these simple tricks, I was able to increase the dwell time on my pages significantly.

Here I notice for the first time that Action B. actually has a rather impressive and well-maintained beard. And consequently making this a great video to use on my "PG6025 All-in-1 Lithium Powered Grooming Kit & Beard Trimmer" page.

Creative use of fire. Great opportunity to help me sell the "Fire Starter Multi Tool - Magnesium and Steel - Flint, Saw, Whistle, Compass, Ruler - Used for Camping, Grilling, Emergency, Videos and Survival - 12,000 Strikes" product to the visitor.
These are only a couple of examples of how I analyze and leverage YouTube videos to help sell my AZ affiliate products. If you spend a bit longer watching the video, you will find a lot of other ways to connect the video to your individual AZ product pages.
Integration
My weapon of choice, when it comes to creating a website, has always been WordPress. Mainly because it's simple to embed YT videos into the pages and posts.
1: Find the video you wish to embed on YT,
2: Under "Share this video", copy the video address to the clipboard,
3: Edit the WordPress post or page you want to add the video to,
4: Locate your cursor at the position you want the video to appear and paste the YT video address.
5: Click the "Update" button in order complete the embedding process,
6 Test to see if the video shows up on the page.
7: Done!
All you have to do now is watch your pages rank, and affiliate commissions increase.
Keep in mind that you can always try and use a different YT video on each one of your AZ product pages. This might help to mix things up a bit. At the same time, I urge you to keep in mind that I didn't perform any scientific test myself and have no idea if this is a valid suggestion.
