you probably already found some kind of way to set thumbnails as featured images on your posts so that they don't just show up as text links when sharing them on social media - if not go do that right away. I see a whole bunch of accounts on Twitter, Tumblr etc. that only share text links and not only does it look spammy but the posts also lack a lot of interaction potential that you get from visual content. Not magic by any means, but here's a quick little tip for you:
If you run your site on Wordpress there are automatic watermarking plugins for uploaded pictures, these can be hacked to overlay a play button with transparent background so that it shows people they can expect a video. I think this is a really nice little tip that gives your shared posts that little extra bit of oomph.
