I just wonder that what tool did you use to make 450k+ backlinks for just 2 days?

So 1,700+ backlinks crawled and still no SERP improvement.

I will wait few days and then probably blast more backlinks if no change appears. I guess some diversification would be also good as HelloInsomnia and shailzrocks said already.

No, I won't call it better. Many will have tough time ranking webs.

They will rank but the web 2.0 company will remove your site even if you pay them. they react very fast to complains.

Webs is not the best and fast ranker. others are better.. :)

See on SERP's observe, which one's are ranking at the top or doing best compared to others..

Thanks. Free version also allows very short titles and just 10 pages, so it doesn't serve my purpose.

Facebook have a tough spam filter and ranking disappears very fast, and the other good ranking site is tough to setup unless without good Linux knowledge.

Wait.. does serpbook and ahrefs count the backlinks that are powering your web 2.0's?
 
I'm still waiting for SERP changes, guys.

2,400+ backlinks crawled and no improvements.

It's weird that the site is still N/A. I have had faster results in the past. Well, patience is the key. Even more when it comes to Google's unpredictability. There is also a lot of options which to choose for next backlinks building. I'll see how it goes and update soon again.
 
I'm interested in finding out what some of the good web2.0s are to rank, really for me it is not even about being easier or harder to rank, it's which web2.0s is less inclined to remove your page ? I love blogger, but that is a big problem with them your blogs can just get removed out of no where, any other suggestions to maybe a lesser used option?

Well, I choosed web 2.0 that Ive never seen anybody to use as a spam target but as Ive written above there are still no serp improvements. Which is weird because I have had at least top 100 ranking with experiments like this in the past. On the other hand I've heard stories of people that ranked blogger and are ranking strong no problem to these days. Just try it.


And what are my results so far, guys? More than 4,000 backlinks crawled and the site still hasn't moved even to top 100. Ive been very busy with other SEO work lately so I don't have much free time for this experiment. However, I will get back to this ASAP. How does my plan look like now?
Because its backlinks profile is very crappy now..;).. and I don't see any effect of the spam blast, I'm considering more possibilities now. Most probably I'll create another web 2.0 and try to rank it with other blackhat methods. Not only blog comments. (Having amazing results with loads of cheap high pr posts these days..so maybe that will be the way to go.)

Does this mean that spam blasting doesn't work for ranking sites? Nope. I truly believe spam may be very powerful. Just this time it hasnt brought desired results. Never mind. I learn as I go and I'm moving to next phase.
 
My experience: with less than 450k links you can get great results, but you need to diversify as shailzrocks pointed out! It does work, it does get results, but it needs a wee bit more than a handful of comments.

Exactly my thoughts now. I was curious if the pure power of spam backlinks could rank a fresh web 2.0. Which was the original idea of this thread. But it seems that the answer is no. It needs more than this.

sorry but your conclusion it completely flawed.

after buying a fiverr gig for mass blog comments and not ranking you conclude that "the pure power of spam backlinks" can't rank sites. but you only tested with blog comments. it must of been in 2011 I think when google totally devalued blog comments, so I have no idea why you based your spamming on making just one type of link and a type of link that has been completely devalued by google. (no PR blog comments not the nice high PR ones).

mass spam does work but to do it you need hundreds of thousands of links from many different platforms, and what works best is in article links so web 2.0, social networking sites like elgg, pligg, and also article directories and any other site where you can submit an article with backlinks in.

don't spread that mass spam doesn't work just because a blog commenting fiverr gig hasn't worked for you.
