Place your main keyword in half or all of your post/page titles and you'll move up in no time.
Yes as simple as that, by doing that more of your pages/posts will start to rank for your main keyword, no matter where, and links from pages that rank for your main keyword are automatically more valuable as links from non ranking page.
Do make sure that page links to the page you want to see ranked obvious.
I've had competitive keywords move from #23 to #12 in a matter of days, saves you a lot of link builidng.
Disclaimer:
Do NOT edit the post/page titles like you would normally do in Wordpress as that would result in keyword stuffing over your whole site. Instead use the SEO Yoast or All-in-One SEO plugin and use their custom options when you edit post/page to set the titles in the SEO Title Input Field. This way you prevent over optimization and that's why this thread received so many negative posts as people were a little too clueless to realize that their selves.
