Okey guys, i'm a total reddit newbie. I just created an account for my IFTT network which will post links on a subreddit (atleast that was the idea) - but I noticed that I need something called "post karma" or "reddit karma" in order to post any links whatsoever.

So my question is; what's the quickest way for a newly created account to get enough points to being able to post links to subreddits?

Thanks guys

OP we are in the same boat.. will be following this thread :)

Well, if it wasn't because I think there is some business to get from this shitty REDDIT then I wouldn't bother and spend time there. It is the most crappy social media I have seen for a long time, why is that people post there and find it even interesting. Evene Facebook is more user friendly than this?

Why do we have to wait 8 minutes between posting comments?

Haha! I feel the same, altough - since Reddit is as big as it is, as a marketer I must learn to love it :D I tried posting generic comments in the /r/AskReddit sub - we'll see how it goes

I agree,This is the best way i have found.I usually have this done by hand before adding accounts to my software.

I'd say reddit is very good because it is not friendly to spam ads. Maybe it's me and subs I visit, but I've seen unwanted ads only 1 or 2 times. But for same reasons it is crap for a marketer I guess.
Another reason I like it for is it asks for very little info (username & email), unlike most social networks. It is cool to have a website where you can remain anonymous.
Though I won't compare it to facebook.
