Quick recovery from core updates

Hi BHW fam,

one of my client got hit by the recent core update losing traffic on key pages. I focused on EEAT by updating thin content and adding expert author section and a slight change in the Backlink strategy and within weeks the ranking started recovering.

Anyone else seeing quick wins post the core update? is yes, what are the strategies you followed?

Yeah, I've seen quick wins by focusing on improving content quality enhancing internal linking, and updating outdated info. Strengthening EEAT and refining the backlink approach also helped boost rankings post-update

That sounds good to hear have you disavowed the backlinks that have low metrics and are lost or trying to fix it

Do you mean the Author Bio section of the articles?

Do not go for quick recovery. Because this will not be permanent. Make the necessary corrections step by step and then you can enjoy good rankings for longer.
 
Yeah, besides that, to improve the ranking, I also like to focus on creating long-form content that truly provides value and adding internal links to connect relevant content.
 
Yes, I did the same method, mostly updating contents, also i stop adding backlinks when my sites got hit

and yeah some are recover faster and one other doesn't recover at all, might be its because AI site
