quick question

hi guys i was just wondering if im able to land clients for some basic SEO can i pay some one to do the actual SEO (on fiverr or something) and keep the profits from the client? just while i get to grips with how to do it myself.

I think it is a bad idea to offer a service which you know nothing about and then outsource it. If you want to provide a quality service which clients will come back to then you should should first get the grips then understand what you need to outsource. Otherwise you are just going to cause you and your clients a huge headache..

If you find a reputable and quality service that you can rely on, why not? Personally I would never outsource my SEO work even if I am super busy, I always want to know exactly where my links are and what is the quality in order to avoid penalties and new google updates. It's your choice just try to find a quality service that won't give you a headache in the future.

Best buy some services for your own sites first - at least then you know what you are reselling to your clients. Otherwise you might ruin your reputation before you even get started.

This is a good idea, not fiverr but reselling SEO services. The problem is you need to have a good provider who will work cheap enough to make money on their skills, which isn't likely.

If you can actually land accounts though, you can make very good money selling and taking a commission.

If you can land local customers for me I will happily pay you 1/2 of first months value when they sign up. If you are good, I will kick it to 100% on a 1 year contract. I'd be an idiot not to.I am sure any SEO provider will make you a similar or better deal. his forum is full of people who cannot sell the service. If they screw it up, not your concern, you get paid for the handshake.

This way you can concentrate on income generation by sales and not have to mess with the SEO.

At least get to know what you're doing on your own dime, rather than fundamentally bush-bashing with clients money. It's ok to experiment with 'tweaks', but it doesn't seem as though you have any understanding of SEO at all, so charging money for it would be inappropriate, I think.
