Hi,

I am planning to sell intangible, online products to US customers. I wanted to have myproductshop.com. Unfortunately, this domain was not available. However, myproductstore.com is available.
Does "store" for online products sound odd or is otherwise problematic? e.g. I'm not a native speaker and I associate "store" more with a physical location, not something only online?!

Thanks and regards

I've ran into this problem a few times. You can combat it by calling your item something nobody has heard before then buy domain and trademark the new product name. Some folks don't know this but trademarks are public info and GOOGLE uses them in search to make sure the right owner gets credit (for long term search)

Store, Shop, Market, Bazaar, Trader

They all mean exactly the same thing. I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

Exactly. Especially store vs shop; both are completely interchangeable words. Neither implies physical products more than the other. Any such association you have is not common.
