Quick question to the backlinking experts

    I've come accross a few blogs lately that dont create a backlink from your URL but still display it. So your still get the entire http.......com displayed but you can't click on it.

    My question is this: Does Google still find it and count it as a backlink?

    Nope, they follow the link just like you do, so if you cant follow it, neither can Google.

    Nope it can't... It's only text not any link so Google or any other search engine is unable to follow it...

    I would not say that they are unable to follow it, Googles spiders work in ways that the public will never know. However do they value it is the real question here, and that answer is highly unlikely.
