For example, I target:

"Best supplement for enlarged prostate" (singular) and "Best supplements for enlarged prostate" (plural)

It seems to me that the guy who is searching for a Best supplement (singular) is looking for that one best supplement while others who are looking for the Best supplements (plural) are more in the research phase..

What do you think?

I do not think it matters. I would use the right term (whether it’s supplement or supplements) align with your overall article or product description. For example, if you are selling multiple supplements, use plural and vice versa.

Targeting a key word in Google Ads makes you eligible for searches of its plurals, misspellings, stemmings (for example, floor and flooring), or abbreviations by default, unless you turn it off in your campaign settings. There is also a keyword theme option to expand the choices.

The person searching for the "Best supplement for enlarged prostate" is likely looking for a single, standout product. On the other hand, someone looking for "Best supplements for enlarged prostate" is probably in research mode, comparing different option

You're right singular suggests a focus on finding the one best option, while plural indicates broader research and comparison of multiple choices.

Exactly, the singular search likely indicates someone looking for a specific solution, while the plural suggests they’re comparing multiple options or still in the research phase.

Yeah, I’d agree "Best supplement" (singular) sounds like someone is ready to buy, while "Best supplements" (plural) feels more like they're comparing options and doing research.

You’re right on the money! Singular means they’re probably ready to pull the trigger, while plural is more about doing their homework, so adjust your pitch accordingly
