Firstly I apologise if this isn't the correct subforum for this but I don't think it's fit to be in Hire A Freelancer nor the Want to buy subforums so here we are. My question is I've recently tried to make a payment through a stealth PayPal (US IP, Portable chrome, No cookies or temp files) and was met with the "unrecognized device" error. I checked my IP and my US IP seems to be working fine. I have no other remaining accounts to test if it's the same. Has anyone ran into this error and how did they solve it? I welcome any suggestions and comments. Thanks in advance!

Do you always clear cookies or do you just leave them.

That unrecognized device error should subside within a couple of hours or days, but hard to say since PayPal is so fickle.

These should be able to provide more info:

I clear them on every PayPal login. but since I don't login that often and only receive payments it's worked fine for me, I'll give those links a look and if anyone has any other ideas I'll be happy to hear. Thank you

is your IP are shard proxy/VP . keeps in mind PayPal records all IP's and put suspicious list .
e.g if your IP comes from well known Hosting company and it range used for hosting purpose only .I use this methods to block unwanted bots from my server .

Ah yes that might also be reason. I'll look into getting a more stable US proxy, Thank you guys for your help and if anyone has anything to add please go ahead.
