Hey all, here's a quick question.
If I have a website that I'm trying to rank for a keyword is it worth buying a few other domains (also containing the same keywords), adding articles to it, make it get an ok pagerank, and linking to my main website? Or is it pretty much the same as just writing articles and submitting to ezine etc? I have a few domains for the same keyword expiring and renewal is 25% off. Any thoughts or tips?

Can it help? Yes, but it depends on how much PR and trust those sites have. Also are you showing as the owner of all the site? Are they all hosted on the same IP and nameservers as your main site? While there they links will help some, the sites themselves and how it is setup is really going to determine how much boost you get.

Yes, it's possible to do this. This is called MicroSite building. Be sure to put them on different web hosts, registrars, etc.

I highly suggest it! Done it myself numerous times and have my main site and mini site 1 and 2 in Google! Bigger slice of the pie!
