Quick Question About Youtube

Ok I got a quick question for all you YouTube pros out there.

Ok I have a video on a niche on one channel and it is my only video so it is ranking first page. I want to double my views to my site so if I put a different vid up promoting the same thing with the same keywords and description on the same channel will that hurt my videos ranking? Thanks : )

So it will not effect my seo on my video at all? I will change wording around too and different vid but same idea

Well, it depends.
What is the competition in that niche?
Remember that the rankings do not only depend on your one or two videos. They can be affected by adding other videos by various owners, and that'll change the SERP, also algo changes can affect the rankings. So you cannot say straight that adding another video with the same keywords and rankings will affect your previous one. It really depends.
