Ok, Hopefully I'll be OK then. I go screwed by a supplier and when I called paypal for help, they said the couldn't help me because of a technicallity and they procedded to limit my account. When I gave them info to have the limitation lifted, they said the limitation could not be appealed and the account would be closed in 90 days.
THis made refunding the buyers (out of my own pocket since the "supplier" already had the money) nearly impossible since most opended Ebay disputes...which "holds" the funds making it impossible to issue the refund (and with the limitation I couldn't send money on my own) So I was screwed. My perfect feed back on my ebay account is now at 61% after 6 neg feedbacks that no one would retract eventhough I explained the situation and refunded everyone. So the account is dead. I can't sell because of the my feedback rating and I don't even think buying with the account is a great idea at this point....so I got victimized and when I asked for help, got screwed from all directions.....Sorry....didn't mean to unload on this thread...
Anyway, I hope this will give me a fresh start and I can start building a good rep agian.
Thanks for answering.
Giving the supplier to PP is sometimes used to have that info on file so you can't use it again. They won't lift the limitation, they just want to know who you are getting your stuff from so they can ban em. Then no one else can use them.
I heard that sometimes they don't even check it, just see if you got it.
But, if you did something suspicious, they will have someone actually read it and see if it's legit.

Yea, I'm tired of all the b/s. Buyers don't care, any little thing goes wrong, even if it's out of your control. They won't hesitate to neg you, because you can't do to them.
I rarely get them to withdraw it, most the time they change to neutral.
I play the back and forth game with Bay about wrongly left feedback from a pissed off buyer. They will always say they can't help. Maybe, after 50 e-mails and making my message sound as automated as possible. Then, I might get the feedback removed.
So the account is dead. I can't sell because of the my feedback rating
That is the unfortunate part. But, there is not much to do but start over.
It's just a hassle dealing with all the crap, and shenanigans. Every week I'll create a new account, just for insurance. I've come to notice, most people don't really care about the low feedback as long as you have some and it's positive. If they want it they will buy it.
I don't even think buying with the account is a great idea at this point
No point, it's dead. It will take too long for the feedback score to go back up. Most sellers will be suspicious. I don't know if buyer feedback brings up the score, I'm not sure though.

No one cares, not Bay, not the buyers. Bay wants their money, they don't care how hey get it.
The buyers just want their item, and won't hesitate to screw you over if something goes wrong.

It's all good, we are all here to converse and exchange ideas, and tactics. Also, to vent our frustrations and get advice from the other members.
It's what makes BHW such a gosh darn special place. lol

Give it a week and build some feedback on your new account. Sales might seem slow, but they will pick up. Just keep doing what you are doing, nothing's changed. You just have a new account.
