Quick question about proxy location

Hello, I have a linkedin lead/gen agenmcy and am getting set up with an antidetect browser along with ISP proxies from a major proxy provider.

Now my question is: Do I need to choose proxies by the city (to match the linkedin account city) - or is it okay to get proxies from anywhere in the USA? I will have a mix of real linkedin accoutns from my clients as well as purchased aged accounts. Remember this is to be use with Linkedin specifically.

No, you do not need to match the proxy on a city level - IP geolocation is not always accurate, it comes with a 100 to 200 miles error margin. It'd be great if you can match the proxy on state level. That way you'll get IP addresses close to the location on your Linkedin profiles.
 
From your IP address, websites and some services can determine your rough geographical location, not down to street level but the area in general.
I personally recommend getting a proxy with the matching city as your LI profile, but it's not an absolute requirement. You can also get a location within a relatively close proximity as the location you've set.

use countries with no state or local area code
 
Coming from an automation background, I always only used proxies in the same country as the account as that is a good #1 rule to follow.

If you can get proxies in the same state or even more precisely city that would definitely be effective. I think you would be relatively safe as long as the proxy matches the account state though
