quick question about possible copywright loophole

I just have a simple question regarding distributing a movie via content locker. Obviously it is not legal, but I'm trying to find a possible loophole. I was thinking that if instead of actually providing the move I was to provide a torrent, or a link to a torrent, it would remove the possibility of being sued as I would not actually have been the person to put movie on the internet. Would appreciate some comments/critique regarding this.
