As you know IP changes triggers FB to lock up your account, how much can the IP vary? Can bit be 33.33.33.xx or 33.33.3x.xx or 33.33.xx.xx?

From common knowledge, 1) should be ok, not sure about the others.

Thanks for the response, this is really basic i know.

A simple IP change will not, they most probably base it on distance. So if you are logging into one account in a town in the UK and then 2minutes later logging into the account in account in the USA this would trigger a lock up.

thats true, how much distance do you think it'll take? Like different city? What's interesting to note is that when I used my mobile IP it locked up, and the IP was within the same state. So it must be more than that. When I logged in other computers normally it wouldn't lock up to that degree and I could easily unlock it through email confirmation.

Maybe it has something to do with having the same useragent.
