quick question about IP and Stealth Ebay Accounts ! Experts opinion needed :)

Hi guys !

I operate 2 e-bay accounts that are not linked to each other obviously.

In my house I have Bright house networks and I have another line of internet provided by the apt complex I live in [ so 2 different IP addresses] .

I use each IP address for each one of the accounts and avoid mixing them.

My question is, does e-bay track the ip used by your device [laptop/ipad] while surfing even if you don't visit e-bay/paypal ?

Or do paypal and e-bay only track your ip when you visit their website ? im asking because I know they use flash cookies and Idk what kind of info they track.

No, eBay and Paypal can not see where you have been if you are not on their site. They can only track you when you are on their site or a site they own (like stubhub).

thanks bro ! what other sites they own ? what about e-mails ? when they email my gmail account do they get my ip ?

As long as you dont cross link them you should be fine, always keep all the information separate. You shouldnt be using the same computer for 2 accounts, if you have a laptop on 1 internet provider and your computer on another youll be fine. If you just have 1 computer best would be to create a new user account on your computer per account. Clearing cookies isnt enough with paypal and ebay. Flash Cookies and cache are involved as well
